Thankful. Grateful. Blessed

Thankful. Grateful. Blessed.

These last few weeks have been tough. My mom has been sick, my work has been exhausting, and I was drowning.

We had a trip planned for the last couple of months and we almost cancelled with everything going on, but I am beyond glad we didn’t. We went on a Motorcycle trip to Wabasha and had a wonderful time. The chilled to the bone rides, hairpin turns, beautiful views, and comfort food. It made it all worth it.

If you need a place to escape from the hustle I’d wholeheartedly recommend Big River Resort in Wabasha. We had one trailer and campsite and then we stayed in the hotel with friends. It is quiet and quaint and wonderfully maintained.

We got to ride so much which was great. We had to do some repairs this summer, so we didn’t get to ride as much as we would’ve liked. It was fun to get back at it.

I have for years wanted to go to a pizza farm and this trip we got to do it! We went to Stone Barn http://www.thenelsonstonebarn.com/pizzeria and holy mackerel it was beyond delicious. They also had gluten free options which was a huge bonus.

I am grateful for the path we have been choosing. One of joy. One without the drama. One where we can truly embrace life and find the joy in the little things. The moments. I am grateful everyday to be by your side as you push me to try new things, slow the f down, and relax. Life doesn’t always need a plan which you remind me of on the daily. Thank you for doing life with me and supporting me through his crazy journey.
