Health Benefits of Ginger Shots

I love using ginger as a way to boost my immune system and make me and my family feel our best. Ginger in its liquid form has been used since ancient times as a way to treat all kinds of ailments.

Some of my favorite health benefits of ginger shots are:

  • Anti-inflammatory

  • Healthier skin 

  • Immunity Booster

  • Relieve and help with nausea 

  • Lowers blood sugar and risk of heart disease

  • Improves brain function 

Ingredients

½ cup ginger root, cut into small pieces (peel on) 

3 lemons, juiced

1 orange, peeled 

¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder

1 tablespoon Honey 

⅛ teaspoon ground cayenne 

½ cup water, optional 

Directions

Wash the ginger thoroughly. Leave the peel on and slice it into thin pieces.

Add all of the ingredients except for the coconut water into a blender and blend on high until the mixture is pureed and smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add additional coconut water and puree again.

Line a colander with a cheesecloth and position it over a bowl. Pour the ginger puree into the cheesecloth and drain out the liquid.

Pour the strained liquid into 4 different shot glasses or a mason jar. Refridgerate or enjoy immediately!
