Simple Beef and Broccoli

Are you in need of a super easy take out replacement? Well this one is for you. Take out is often full of unnecessary MSG and preservatives, so here’s a super simple throw together meal to curb your Chinese take out craving.

Ingredients-

3-4 Sirloin steaks cut into bite size pieces

Onion

2/3 cup Soy Sauce or Coconut Aminos

6 cloves of garlic (minced)

1/4 cup Sesame oil

1/2 cup Vegetable oil

1/2 cup sugar or sugar substitute

1T Ginger (grated or paste)

2 T Sesame Seeds

Green onions for garnish

1 head of broccoli cut into bite size pieces

2T olive oil

Jasmine Rice

Directions-

Cut steak into bite sized pieces. Cut the red onion into large chunks and set aside.

In a large bowl whisk together soy sauce or coconut aminos, garlic, sesame oil, vegetable oil, sugar, ginger and sesame seeds. Add the steak and toss to coat in marinade. Marinate for 3 hours or overnight.

Preheat the grill to medium high heat.

Cut broccoli into bite size pieces, toss in olive oil and air fry for 8-10 minutes.

Microwave or prepare your jasmine rice.

Grill steak for 8-10 minutes until the meat is done to desired liking.

Assemble your plate. Add rice, broccoli, and top with your steak and onions. Top with green onions and sesame seeds.
